Posing as a “brother from Bradford” our undercover investigator was told how donated money is laundered through Bosnia before being funnelled to fanatics in the Middle East.
Our reporter was told to contact a man calling himself Isa Amriki – who uses the screen names HoneyNtea and Wolf Raised.
He asked us to send funds which we told him had been raised with the help of a group of Bradford based Isis sympathisers.
He wrote in a later message: “U’ll be sending thru moneygram to bosnia for its the best way and safer cuz ur in the u.k.”
In September it was claimed the security service MI5 was paying informants up to £2,000 a time to spy on UK mosques.
But there were warnings the sums of cash on offer could tempt people to offer false information in return for a payout.
Radicals were secretly buying land in an isolated Bosnian village surrounded by thick forests.
Security services think the area is used for Isis training camps and could offer a base for planning devastating terror attacks against the West.
Bosnia was chosen because it is close to the Mediterranean, allowing easier access to Syria, Iraq and North Africa.
