The pastor cum politician, Rev. Chris Okotie, has stated that Nigerians will no longer accept excuses from the Buhari-led federal government following the ministerial list sent the Senate.
Rev Okotie, who is the chairman of the Fresh Democratic Party, said the onus is now on the APC federal government to shift the governance paradigm and move the nation forward.
In a statement issued by his Lagos office on Thursday, October 1, he said: ‘’Every nation faces some daunting odds at some point; the important thing is for them to overcome such hurdles and move on. In Nigeria’s case, we have not been able to do that because of the perennial plague of bad leadership.
“Nothing short of effective, quality service delivery and fast pace of governance would make the needed difference,” he said.
Okotie added: “The onus is now on the APC federal government to shift the governance paradigm and move the nation forward, in order to close the gap with other progressive nations.”

Tagged ‘The Reach-out Nigeria Campaign,’ the annual event is aimed at celebrating Nigeria in the light of the country’s 55th Independence Day anniversary, which took place on Thursday, October 1.
Meanwhile, the APC’s publicity secretary, Lai Mohammed has advised Nigerians not to accept in its entirety the list being circulated around. He said Nigerians should be patient for the official announcement of the names of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees by the Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, October 6, when it resumes for plenary.
Also, Rotimi Amaechi, the immediate past governor of Rivers state has pleaded with Nigerians to give the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government the maximum support in order to achieve sustainable development and success for the country.
