Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers has announced the recall of the four suspended commissioners, the Head of Service and the Special Adviser on Lands.
Information on the recall is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, made available to journalists on Friday in Port Harcourt.
The commissioners were suspended two weeks ago.
The affected commissioners are John Baziafor (Chieftaincy Affairs), Tonye Briggs-Oniyide (Culture and Tourism), Fred Kpakol (Finance) and Boma Iyaye (Sports).
Others are Godwin Rufus (Head of Service) and Anugbum Onuoha, the Special Adviser on Lands.
