Floyd Mayweather has aimed a dig at Conor McGregor after Dana White suggested the Irishman and the boxing legend could evenly split a $50 million fight purse.
A super fight between the two stars of their respective sports has long been teased by the pair, but Mayweather has made his feelings known about what he thinks is a fair split.White made the offer to Mayweather who met the suggestion with disbelief at the idea McGregor would receive an equal cut.
Mayweather tweeted the following to McGregor: ‘Before you ask for $25 million, be worth more than $25 million.
‘You have the “2” and the “5” right but you meant to say $2.5 million not $25 million.’ Mayweather has been paid upwards of €100 million for one fight while McGregor has set new records in the UFC for fight purses.
