- Police equipped with anti-riot gear blocked Bring Back Our Girls protesters assembling in Abuja today. April 14, 2016 marks two years since Boko Haram terrorists abducted 219 girls from their school in Chibok, Borno State.
The protesters were marching to hold a press conference near the Presidential Villa in Abuja but were blocked by police for security reasons, according to media reports.
The two year anniversary of the Chibok girls abduction is being recognized worldwide today with demonstrations being held in major global cities.
