Jelili Adesiyan, a former minister for police affairs believes that the ruling All Progressive Congress will crumble because it was built on falsehood.
In a chat with journalists in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Friday, October 2, the former minister said the APC was a party of disgruntled people who came together to hijack power.
He said: “Anything that is built on falsehood will crumble and that is what we have seen about this APC thing.
“Muhammadu Buhari wanted to become the President of Nigeria, he needed the amalgamation of some people and he has got it. Bukola Saraki wanted to be the President of the Senate and he has got it. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wanted to be the leader of the APC, he also got. So, all of them wanted to get their own and they have got it. And that is why they are falling apart.”
According to Adesiyan, the Peoples Democratic Party was more organized that the APC, adding that those who defected would return to the party.
